FITNESS WEEK WITH GOOGLE: What intensity exercise should I do?

When it comes to exercise intensity YOU DO YOU!! You should be proud of yourself that you're even taking the time to better yourself physically and mentally. GO YOU!! *cheers*👏

There is no right or wrong way when it comes to how intense your exercising should be. You don't need to do a marathon in order to have a successful and rewarding workout. Exercise could mean as little as walking on a treadmill for 20 minutes or doing 20 butt squats and push-ups in your room.

The main thing is to pace yourself. Go as fast or as slow as you need. Your routine could be working out for 2 hours, 3 days a week or working out for 15-30 minutes 5 times a week.

I personally prefer working out for 30 minutes 3 days a week and then I do my own exercises in my room for 10 minutes the other 4 days. This just fits in better with my hectic college schedule. You might even catching me do donkey kicks in class just cause I haven't been able to work out that day. Kiddingggggg😆 I do squats😉 gotta get that thiccccccck b00ty!!

And if you don't have time to exercise, leisure activities have similar health benefits to exercising. For example, if given the option between the shuttle on campus or walking to class, I should walk (key word is should). Other example of leisure activities include cleaning (LOL you're like thank u next💁), stretching, dancing, gardening, playing games and hiking.

If you want a more intense workout some examples of these are competitive sports, workout classes, running, cycling, aerobics and weight lifting.💦

I hope these tips about exercising and intensity helped you out and remember you should just be proud of yourself for doing 10 minutes of working out. If you want to work up to running a marathon then go for it. However, the level of intensity doesn't relate to the benefits of your exercises.

  1. FACTSSSS!!! Everyone has their own limits, just do what makes you feel good about yourself. All those models you see on Instagram most likely got their bodies paid for so dont feel bad about yourself for not looking like them. You can find a more natural (and cheaper) way of achieving your own body goals through exercise. And remember... little bootys matter too so ladies STOP FEELING BAD ABOUT HAVING LIL CAKES CAUSE WE LOVE THEM REGARDLESS!!!
